S i t u a t i o n:

The work station is equipped either with a 30" wide or a 36" wide 2 drawer cabinet. It may, instead, be equipped with two 22" deep pedestals (1@ box/box/file and 1@ file/file).

There is a need to increase letter filing capacity  without increasing the heights of the cabinets.
S o l u t i o n:

A 28-1/2" wide x 23-3/4" deep x 2 drawer cabinet, equipped with a 3" box drawer and 2 10-1/2" file drawers, which allow for front-to-back legal filing in two rows.

B e n e f i t s:

  • Increased legal filing capacity
  • Replacing a 36" wide file: Increase capacity from 66" to 88" (33%)
  • Replacing a 30" wide file: Increase capacity from 54" to 88" (63%)
  • Replacing 2 pedestals: Increase capacity from 60" to 88" (47%)
  • An extra box-type drawer, which may eliminate the need for one under the work surface.
    In the case of pedestals, the box drawer capacity is maintained: approximately 600 sq. in.
  • Space saving. (28-1/2" wide cabinet vs 30" or 36" files, or 2 x 15" pedestals)
  • The cost of the unit in less than that of two pedestals.
  • Smooth integration with 24" deep work surfaces. Fits beneath or can support top.
This product is now a standard product at 23" deep to work within systems, allowing for trim and creep
